PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Housby is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to perform effective risk management and plan the organization’s overall financial strategy. Responsible for all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader that will protect the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.

EXPECTATIONS:

Provide leadership in the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.

Analyze current and future trends and needs, and accurately assess functional responsibilities, competitive strengths and vulnerabilities.

Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.

Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

Work with the President on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships as well as assisting in the development and negation of contracts.

Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization.

Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.

Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.

Coordinate methods used to attain team goals with the company Controller.

Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.

Oversee cash, investments and asset management area.

Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.

Assist in formulating the company’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.

Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.).

Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliance with vendors and business partners.

Represent the company to banks, financial partners, institutions, investors and public auditors.

Remain current on audit best practices as well as state, federal and local laws regarding company operations.

Oversee weekly cash management and approve large payables, sign checks, and authorize large wires.

Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team.

Work with Human Resources to ensure appropriate legal compliance.

Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.

Evaluate overall financial performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer.

Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting and financial management practices.

In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.

Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.

Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.

Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.

Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Master’s Degree in Business or Finance, highly preferred.

Certified Public Accountant certification a plus.
